Syrian Volunteer Event

With only two days notice, more than 30 people showed up to the Giving Children Hope warehouse on September 17 to help Syrian refugees. Giving Children Hope is preparing a shipment of supplies for Syrian refugees in Lebanon that will leave in the coming weeks and needed some extra help. Volunteers helped to sort and fold new clothing that had been donated, as well as packing toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap and other hygiene products into hygiene kits. One volunteer said that it was a good feeling to get to do something locally to help those in turmoil so far away. Our hope and prayer is that Giving Children Hope may provide YOU, the real world changers, the vehicle to love and serve those in need. We are so grateful to all who came out to support Syrian refugees in need.

Thanks to those whom attended 450 hygiene kits were built and 2 pallets of clothing were sorted and folded! Way to go!
