Thanks to Giving Children Hope, thousands of children had something to smile about on Christmas morning. Despite limitations with no volunteers, all of our staff have been willing to step up and stretch themselves in ways they never imagined. We adapted how we serve our youth and families and built an infrastructure that allows us to continue to meet needs as they arise.
Our We’ve Got Your Back program provides basic needs, nutritious food and medical resources for over 5,000 children across 62 schools in Southern California. This Christmas, we were able to make their year a little brighter by making their wish lists come true. Everything from Vans shoes to Legos levels the playing field for these kids and families.
In Venezuela, over 500 children received brand new toys and converse shoes. Thanks to strategic partners like Venezolanos En Kendall, hundreds of children get to experience a Christmas like never before.
In addition, we partnered with Good360 and Toys for Tots to send 14,000 toys, books, and games for over 7,000 children in 20 Native American communities.
