How is Giving Children Hope different from other international relief and development organizations?
One of our core values is listening. As a listening organization, we work with partners in developing countries and listen to their needs instead of imposing our own ideas or strategies on the community. It is the community that decides what they need and which projects are prioritized. Instead of being community based, we are community initiated. A project has the greatest chance for success when the community has true ownership and input into the development.
Absolutely! Please provide a contact name and address to have a notification sent for the donation. We will not include the amount given, but we will let them know that you made a gift in their honor.

We do have after hour events on an as-needed basis, like our disaster response packing events that we schedule after a natural disaster or our wrapping parties for our toy drive in December. The best way to hear about these needs is to join our Newsletter. In addition, you can host a food drive or serve as a volunteer ambassador. For more information on these opportunities, check out our Volunteer page.
We are not accepting public donations at this time due to COVID-19.
Giving Children Hope sends supplies all over the world. We partner with other nonprofits, orphanages, and clinics that know the community’s needs where they are stationed. In order to support the incredible work those nonprofits are doing, we send supplies to further their goals of loving and supporting the poor. Giving Children Hope has sent supplies to over 71 countries worldwide.
